Wholesale Chain Link Fence: Terms and Conditions Agreement

No Returns Policy: Ensuring Your Satisfaction

At Wholesale Chain Link Fence, we prioritize your satisfaction and strive to provide high-quality products. Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19, we regretfully cannot accept returns or cancellations at this time. However, we understand that major life-changing events may necessitate a return. In such cases, we will accommodate your request with a 3% return processing fee, and the customer will be responsible for shipping back any parts. Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the returned product.

Extended Wait Times: Patience Required

Due to Covid-19 shutdowns and restrictions affecting the national manufacturing process, we are experiencing longer-than-usual wait times. Please be aware that all orders are at risk for delays exceeding 12 weeks. While we understand your eagerness to receive your chain link fence, we kindly request your understanding and patience during these challenging times. Rest assured, we are working diligently to fulfill orders promptly and efficiently.

Smooth Pick-up Process: Guidelines to Follow

When picking up your order at our facility, please ensure a smooth and efficient process by adhering to the following guidelines:

  • Provide your Merchants Metals Representative with the purchase order (PO) number listed on your invoice.

  • Arrive with a sufficiently large trailer for transporting your order. Please refrain from using trucks, vans, or cars for pick-up.

  • Prior to leaving the Merchants Metals facility, thoroughly inspect your fence for quantities and damages. Any discrepancies must be reported before departure.

  • Please note that in the event of shortages or damaged products discovered after leaving the facility, you will be responsible for shipping fees to receive replacements or reschedule another pick-up, regardless of the distance traveled.

Receiving Your Order: Important Considerations

To ensure a smooth delivery process and a successful receipt of your chain link fence, please keep the following points in mind:

  • Ensure that you or someone authorized is present to receive the material upon delivery, whether it arrives in a box truck or on a flatbed semi.

  • Unloading the material will require either a forklift or sufficient manpower. Please make appropriate arrangements for the unloading process.

  • For commercial deliveries, it is essential to have a forklift available on-site to facilitate the unloading process.

  • Please be aware that the delivery driver is not responsible for unloading the material.

Reporting Damages and Missing Items: Protecting Your Interests

Upon delivery, it is crucial to carefully inspect the materials and report any damages or missing items on the bill of lading, which the driver will have a copy of. This step is essential to ensure that the trucking company assumes responsibility for the freight and covers the cost of replacement materials. Minor issues such as black marks or small scratches can typically be resolved by using soapy water and a coarse scrub pad.

Avoid Refusing a Load: Mitigating Additional Charges

In the event of damages or other issues with your order, we strongly advise against refusing the load. If you refuse your order, the manufacturer will not accept the return, and you will be held responsible for all associated charges. To prevent unnecessary complications and costs, please follow the procedures outlined for reporting damages and missing items.

Payment by ACH Terms: Secure and Convenient Transactions

To streamline the payment process and provide you with a secure and convenient experience, Wholesale Chain Link Fence offers Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments. By providing your bank account details, including the last four digits of your account and routing number, you authorize us to debit your account for the agreed-upon amount. Please ensure that the funds are available for withdrawal, as a bounced check fee of $20 will be applied if the payment is not successful.

Subcontractors: Clarifying Responsibilities

When engaging in fence installation projects, Wholesale Chain Link Fence may collaborate with subcontractors. Please note the following important points regarding subcontracted work:

  • The estimated price provided is subject to change based on a project inspection conducted by our subcontractor. If additional charges are necessary, we will discuss them with you before processing the payment.

  • We cannot be held responsible for damages to sprinkler lines or any other lines that cannot be located accurately. The customer’s approval is required for digging closer than 24″ to marked lines, and any resulting damages will incur additional costs.

  • Labor-related warranties are not offered by Wholesale Chain Link Fence. Any legal issues arising from labor-related matters are solely between the customer and the subcontractor. We do not claim ownership over our subcontractors or their work, as they operate under their own legal binding names.

Legally Binding Agreement: Protecting Your Interests

By providing your digital signature, verifying payment, and confirming the invoice, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions as legally binding. This agreement is in place to prevent fraud and implement protective measures for your benefit. We appreciate your understanding and compliance with these terms as we work together to ensure a smooth and successful fencing experience.
